Home Loan

A home loan is an amount of money that an individual borrows from a bank or money lending company at a certain rate of interest to be paid with the EMI every month. The property is taken as a security by the money lending company for the Home Loan.

A mortgage is a loan from a bank or lender to help you finance the purchase of a home. When you take out a mortgage, you agree that the lender has the right to take your property if you fail to repay the money you've borrowed plus an agreed-upon interest rate. In other words, the home is used as "collateral."

A purchase money loan is evidenced by the trust deed or mortgage a home buyer signs at the time the home buyer purchases the home. A borrower can obtain a purchase money loan from a bank, a savings and loan, a credit union or a private source of funds, including from the seller who is selling the home.
